Big Band Almelo was op tweede paasdag de allerbeste tijdens de vierde editie van het Bigband Festival Goor. Het orkest, onder leiding van de Almelose dirigent Frank van Nus, troefde de andere deelnemende negen bigbands af. De Almelose formatie deed voor het eerst mee en greep meteen de hoofdprijs.
